The Sutton and District Summer League have completed their fixtures and Sutton Sports finished their division one programme with a 6-3 win at Sutton Park Hotel to give them a total of 18 points and the divisional title. Runners up Fox Flights had a convincing 8-1 win over Anvil Nomads in their final game but ended the campaign three points adrift of the champions.
Division two could not have finished any closer with Red Lion Flights beating Old Oscott WMV 7-2 and Pint Pot Nomads winning 6-3 at the White Lion, both teams winding up with 22 points, Red Lion Flights having the slightly better average to give them the title. Before the final games Erdington Arrows were third and Oscott Social fourth, the two team met each other on Oscott’s board. The result was a 7-2 win for the hosts which saw the two teams change places, Oscott Social finishing third and Erdington Arrows fourth, both with 12 points, the former having a much better average.
Drakes Drum were the outright winners of division three, taking the top spot by a clear five points from Heartlands. Both teams finished on a high with 8-1 scorelines Drakes Drum beating Bromford Club and Heartlands accounting for Bishop Vesey.
Shadow League winners were, Anvil Nomads (division one), Oscott Social (division two) and Bishop Vesey (division three).

Riley’s Castle Vale dropped their first points in ten games in group one of the Sheldon and District Summer League when they were held to a 4-4 draw away to third in the table Crown at Olton. Nevertheless, Riley’s still take the title with a five points advantage over Highwood Arrows, who won their home tie with Riley’s Solihull 6-2.
Group two leaders New Firs Flights lost ground in the title chase when they went down 5-3 away to next to bottom in the table Pavilions. Custard House ‘B’ are now level on the same 14 points as New Firs and have a game remaining, a win would give them the group two title.
In group three top team Shirley RBL Flights were held to a 4-4 draw by next to bottom Holy Souls, but win the group by one point over EBAHA. Maggies chalked up their first win of the season when they had a walkover awarded to them against Ridgemere Flights.
Scanlons won group four with 15 points, Langley Hall Sports and Social runners up on 12 points after beating Crown Arrows at Shard End 6-2, who were previously in second place. Group five winners were Centurion who finished with a massive seven points advantage over their nearest rivals Shirley Misfits.
The group six title hinges on an outstanding game between George V ‘B’ and Ivy Leaf ‘B’. A win for George would see them leap frog current leaders Ridgemere Arrows and win the group by one point.

There was a top of the table clash in division one of the Small Heath League this week, second placed Emerald Club hosting leaders Custard House. The result was a 6-3 win for the Custard House, who have now opened up a two points lead over the rest of the field.
In the second division Midland Darts Centre took on Sheldon Marlborough Flights, the former showing their worth as divisional leaders winning 6-3.
At Custard House Flights the away side, the Clock were looking to return to winning ways and looked all set to do so as they opened up a 3-1 lead over the bottom team. However, they could not maintain their challenge and finally went down 5-4 to give the home side their first win in six games.
Redhill Tavern had a convincing 8-1 home win over Cobs Bar.

For the second consecutive week Riley’s Red Arrows, leaders of division one in the Forest of Arden Summer League, have lost. Their latest defeat was in an away game against Old Bill and Bull where they finished on the wrong side of a 5-2 result. Red Arrows hold on to the top spot but now because second placed Riley’s Flights beat Crown Arrows 4-3, are now only top on average as both teams have 12 points. The defeat has now put Riley’s Flights in the driving seat as they also have a game in hand on Arrows.
In division two, Highwood KB beat Chelmsley Flights 5-2 to reduce the arrears on leaders Highwood, who are still four points to the good on their rivals.

Rowley Monday Night League’s fixtures brought together the top two teams, leaders Wilson Hall at home to second in the table Gate Hangs Well. The final scoreline was a clear cut 7-2 victory for the hosts to give them a four points lead, with Gate Hangs Well holding on to second place.
The Boat won 7-2 at the Golden Cue and join Gate Hangs Well on the 42 points, but they are well adrift on average.

No change at the top of the Camp Hill League as leaders Forgers win 6-1 at home to Redhill Tavern and their nearest rivals, Scruffy Ringers won 5-2 at Devils Club. Forgers remain eight points in front of Scruffy’s.
There were 4-3 wins for Waggoners and Langley Lads, who in turn defeated Crown Arrows and Roosters.
