It was not a good weekend for Warwickshire in the premier division of the BDO Inter County Championships as they lost their home tie with high riding Lancashire 22-14. Both men’s teams lost 7-5, the ladies ‘B’ had a crushing 5-1 defeat and the only highlight of the fixture was a 3-3 draw by the ladies ‘A’. Match awards went to Mark McGeeney (‘A’ 27.92), David Sanders (‘B’ 28.90), Trina Gulliver (‘A’ 24.80) and Kim Morris (‘B’ 14.97).
