In division one West Midlands travelled to south Wales to take on Gwent and chalked up their second win in three games, a 19-17 victory. The men’s ‘A’ won 7-5, with Dean Stewart (29.91) their top man, Mark Watkiss (26.59) the man of the match in the ‘B’ teams 10-2 win.
It was not too good for the ladies as both teams went down 5-1. Jackie Crew (17.25) the ‘A’ sides winner and Jacqui Simmons (14.31) the only winner for the ‘B’ team.
This coming weekend West Midlands play hosts to Cornwall.
