The preliminary round of the Mrs F.Richman Trophy was on the fixture card for the Sheldon and District Summer League and Maggies were the top scorers with a 6-1 away a success over Ivy Leaf ‘B’. Close behind Maggies were, Custard House Flights and New Firs Flights who in turn handed out 5-2 defeats to Sheldon Social and Custard House ‘A’. Custard House ‘B’ were more fortunate than their ‘A’ side as they registered a close 4-3 win as they played hosts to Highwood Arrows and winning by the same margin were Greville Arms in an away game against Dovecote.

Just one maximum was recorded on the night and that was supplied by Ivy Leaf ‘B’ player P.Evans.
