Sutton Sports have retained the division one title in the Four Oaks and District League following their 72 home win over Old Oscott Arrows. Now with 28 points Sutton are four points ahead of The Fox, whose 5-4 win at Deer’s Leap confirms them as runners up.
In the second division Pint Pot Flights, who are already champions won 7-2 away to Royal Oak, while Anvil Nomads, who are second on average alone won 6-3 at White Lion Barrels. Oscott Social Clarets are now on the same 24 points as Anvil after going 4-1 up away to local rivals Old Oscott WMC and finishing 5-4 losers. Anvil and Clarets meet each other next week in the final fixture of the season, the result will determine who finishes as runners up.
A 7-2 win at the Gate has given already crowned champions the Red Arrows the third division title, while Oscott Social Reds have drawn level on 18 points with second placed Brookvale after beating them 8-1, however, Brookvale do have a game in hand.
M.O’Donnell (Pint Pot Flights) notched his second maximum of the season and there were also 180’s for L.Jones (Old Oscott Arrows), R.Blaney (Brookvale) and S.Andrews (Red Lion Flights).

With the Mitre having a bye this week in the Small Heath League, Emerald Club took full advantage by handing out a crushing 8-1 defeat on the Devils to regain second place in the table. There was a top versus bottom scenario in the league when leaders Custard House played away to Hay Mills Social. The result was a somewhat surprisingly close 5-4 victory for Custard House to maintain their number one spot and extend their unbeaten run to nine games.
In the mid table tussle between Custard House Flights and Wagon and Horses the result went to the very last leg of the final game and saw the away team, Wagon and Horses return with a 5-4 success to put them two points clear of their opponents in fourth place.

The Tamworth Sports Bar League were engaged in their Charity Cup. In the first round there were wins for Globe ‘A’ and Hustlers, who in turn defeated Market Vaults and Mile Oak Rovers.
Round two saw Globe ‘A’ go out 4-2 to Sports Bar 180, while Hustlers progressed with a 4-1 victory against Riftswood. Wigginton also won by 4-1 in their contest with Globe ‘B’. Biggest winners of the round were league leaders Three Horse Shoes who handed out a 6-1 thrashing to St Johns Club.
There was one rearranged league fixture played in which Globe ‘B’ beat Mile Oak Rovers 5-2. In the Players League Wayne Deeley (Mile Oak Rovers) beat Geggy Wright (Globe ‘B’).

On the fixture card for the Forest of Arden Winter League was the preliminary round of their Divisional Cup. In division one Riley’s Flights were in top form winning 8-1 at Highwood ‘A’ and close behind were Riley’s Red Arrows who had a 7-2 success at Old Bill and Bull. Olton RBL went through to the next round with a 6-3 win at Harvester.
There were two fixtures in the second division’s event, both of them finishing with 7-2 scorelines. On the winning side were Sheldon Arrows and Sheldon Flights who won against respective opponents Greville Arms and Riley’s Mixed.
