In the premier division of the Riley’s BDO Inter County Championships, Warwickshire play a must win relegation game with Cornwall at the Bishopsgate Club, Coventry this weekend. Currently Warwickshire are third from bottom on 70 points and Cornwall second from bottom on 64 points. A good win could move the hosts two or three places up the table and relieve some of the pressures of fighting off relegation.

The top two teams in division one of the Four Oaks and District League, Sutton Sports and The Fox both recorded close 5-4 win this week against respective opponents Boldmere Sports, who are third in the table and Red Lion Flights, M.Harris (The Fox) hitting the only maximum of the week.
In the second division all five games ended with 5-4 results and wins for Oscott Social Clarets, Grave Diggers, Royal Oak, Drakes Drum and Pint Pot Flights, with the losers being White Lion, Anvil Nomads, Old Oscott WMC, White Lion Barrels and Aston Social. Pint Pot Flights making it twelve wins in as many games and as a result of their defeat second placed Anvil Nomads trail by six points.
Division three played off the first round of the Challenge Cup and saw Brookvale and Pint Pot Arrows both chalk up 6-3 wins in turn against The Dragons and The Gate. Also winning through to round two were Sutton Town FC and The Red Arrows.

Tigers, with a 5-2 win over Tribe made it nine wins in a row in the Gulp League to maintain their six points lead at the top of the table. Second in the league Lions beat Cranes by the same margin, but the biggest winners of the week were Rebels who beat Tigerettes 7-0.
In the leagues singles knockout it was Colin Wyatt with a clear 2-0 victory over Neil Parsonage who lifted the crown. Losing semi finalists were Claire Cottrell and Steve Moon.

There was a top of the table clash in the Camp Hill League with leaders Roost travelling to take on their nearest rivals Lady Westminster. As expected the result was close, the 4-3 verdict going in favour of Lady Westminster to reduce the point’s deficit to just two with a game in hand.

First and second placed teams in the Small Heath League, Emerald Club and Custard House, both with a 100% win record squared up to each other this week with something having to give. Playing on the Emerald board, the 6-3 result went to Custard House, who have now replaced their opponents in pole position, both of them having amassed ten points with Emerald Club having played one game more.

Highlight of week fourteen in the Sheldon and District Winter League was the fantastic six scoring darts game by Brian Twist of Rileys in the premier division. Following a break of 152 Brian checked out on 149 for a fantastic leg of darts, unfortunately his team lost 6-3 at home to Old Bill and Bull.

Riley’s Red Arrows did their title hopes no harm at all this week in the Forest of Arden Winter League as they chalked up an 8-1 victory over Sheldon Flights to give them a total of 61 points, 24 more than their nearest rivals Old Bill and Bull, who won 6-3 away to Riley’s Flights.

Leaders of the Tamworth Sports Bar League, Three Horse Shoes consolidated their number one position by handing out a 7-0 whitewash to Globe ‘B’ this week, while second in the table Sports Bar 180 had a narrow 4-3 success away to Hustlers, they now trail Shoes by seven points.
