Lee Harris claimed a vital scalp in the Carlsberg Olton Double Top League this week when he beat leader Bob Nixon 2-1 and hit two maximums in the process. The win leaves Harris in fifth place in the table six points adrift of Nixon. Nixon’s defeat however, has opened up the door for Andy Hutchings who has now played the same 27 fixtures and has exactly the same average as Nixon. Just two points behind the leading duo is Pat Sinnett and one further point behind him is Tony Randell, looks as though it will be a very close run in to the end of the season.

Ian McFarlane added a 2-1 win against Steve Cousins and a 3-0 success over Terry Blakemore to his tally in the thisisdarts Individual League to give him 181 points and a massive 34 points lead over second in the table Adam Gallett with only a handful of games remaining. Gallett lost ground this week when he went down 2-1 to Darren Whitehouse and suffered a further 3-0 defeat at the hands of Tony Comerford to leave him just three points ahead of Robbie Earl who has two games in hand.
