After losing 5-3 to Riley’s Arrows, Olton RBL have quickly returned to winning ways in group one of the Sheldon and District Summer League by handing out a 7-1 thrashing to the group’s bottom team Red Lion. Tony Randell (Riley’s Flights) produced a terrific 167 finish but unfortunately it was not enough for his team to avoid a 5-3 defeat away to leaders Bromford Bridge Members Club Exiles, who remain three points ahead of the field.
It was not good news for group four leaders Garretts Green Arrows as they travelled to take on their nearest rivals Maggies and returned on the wrong side of a 5-3 result. Not all bad news though as Garretts hang on to top spot with a superior average to Maggies.
