The final game of the season in the Riley’s BDO Inter Counties Championships did not bring a good result for Warwickshire however despite the adverse result the outcome could not have better.
Playing away in the premier division against Kent and went down 22-14 however, because of the two wins in their previous outings and other results going in their favour they finished the season on 163 points and seventh in the table to retain their premier division status for next season.
Match awards went to Bob Nixon (29.67) men’s ‘A’, Mark McGeeney (30.87) men’s ’B’, Trina Gulliver (29.44) women’s ‘A’ and Angela Jones (16.52) women’s ‘B’.
