In division two West Midlands are riding high in second place behind London and their away game against Berkshire saw them return with a 20-16 victory to leave them 30 points behind the leaders, but more importantly seven ahead of third placed Suffolk.
Unlike their local rivals it was the ladies who produced the goods for West Midlands with the ‘A’ side chalking up a 6-0 whitewash over their opponents, Tammy Chance (16.27) their top player. The ‘B’ finished all square at 3-3 with Liz Arnold (13.89) lady of the match.
In the men’s games the ‘A’ went down 7-5 and the ‘B’ gad a 6-6 draw, Dean Stewart (29.16) and Richard Foster (24.76) taking the respective match awards.
