With three remaining fixtures in the Riley’s BDO Inter Counties Championships, Warwickshire will be playing hosts to Glamorgan in their latest premier division encounter this coming weekend. The local county ideally require a win to boost their survival chances in the top flight.

In division two West Midlands will be travelling south to take on Berkshire and will be hoping to consolidate their number two position in the table. Although West Midlands are four places above their opponents only five points separate the two teams and a win for the away side would be a great achievement.

Week two in the thisisdarts.co.uk Individual League and Tony Comerford has taken over the number one spot. In this week’s games Comerford had a 3-0 win over Steve Cousins and beat George Green and Adam Thomas twice to obtain his table topping 23 points, three more than second placed Adam Thomas.
Two scores of 180 this week and both of them provided by Darren Whitehouse. His first was in a 2-1 win over Colin Mace and he followed that with one against Steve Cousins, but it was Cousins who got the 2-1 verdict.

Rileys Red Arrows extended their unbeaten run in division one of the Forest of Arden Winter League to twelve games when they beat Greville Arrows 6-3. Olton RBL remain in second place after a close 5-4 win against Sheldon Arrows, but are still eight points behind Riley’s, with a game in hand.
In division two leaders Harvester suffered a set back to their title hopes when they were beaten 5-4 by next to bottom of the table Old Bill and Bull Flights. Second placed Riley’s Flights had a 7-2 win against their nearest rivals Sheldon Flights and are now only two points adrift of Harvester with a game in hand.

The Pip Club League have been busy with cup matches. First the doubles knockout, which was won by Red Lion duo Mick Smith and Mark Tomlinson, runners up were Kevin Clubley and Tony Wilkinson from the Dolphin.
In the singles competition, the division one winner was Mick Smith (Red Lion ‘A’) who defeated team mate Darren Jones in the final. The division two title went to North Warwick Cricket Club representative Paul Richards, with Ben Hawkesworth (Polesworth Darts Club) the losing finalist.

The Four Oaks and District League had their Derek Masters Individual Trophy, which is sponsored by Central Container Services on the fixture card. The event was staged at two venues at Aston Social the winner was Sutton Sports player L.Harris who had a final 2-0 win over J.Collins (Sportsmans Rest). At the Red Lion it was a triumphant night for Fox player T.Frost, who after beating T.O’Kereke (Cross Keys PPA) 2-0 in the semi’s won by the same margin in the final against T.Colley (Red Lion Flights).
Harris and Frost will now play each other in the final on the 27th April at the Red Lion.

It was the first round of the Upside Down Cup for the Small Heath League. Biggest winners of the round were St Andrews Tavern who took out Redhill Tavern with an 8-1 scoreline. Wagon and Horses had a 6-3 win over Custard House, while Beaufort Social Club had a narrow 5-4 verdict against Emerald Club.

Leamington have opened up a 21 points lead at the top of the Warwickshire Men’s Super League, with Coventry Cherry Tree their nearest rival. After nineteen matches Leamington are the only team in the league with an unbeaten record. They have won 16 and drawn 3. In contrast at the other end of the table Kenilworth Sports and Social are without a win so far having drawn 2 and lost 17.
