In division two West Midlands were hoping to follow up their opening 22-14 away win over Suffolk with another victory to consolidate their pole position in the promotion table, but lost their home tie with Lincolnshire 20-16 and dropped to a mid table position. A 7-5 win by the men’s ’B’ was the only highlight of the fixture, the ’A’ losing by the same scoreline. Both ladies teams went down 4-2, with Kath Jenkins (17.65) and Sarah Robbins (18.60) taking the respective ’A’ and ’B’ awards. For the men it was Peter Wyse (27.12) and Jamie Hughes (28.88).
