The Four Oaks and District League have got their new season underway and it’s great to see in this day and age when most league’s have been suffering with dwindling numbers and in some cases even fading into the ether that Four Oaks have actually extended their membership and gone from two to three divisions. Well done to the Four Oaks officials.

On the league front Boldmere Sports are the early leaders in division one with a slightly better average than Old Oscott Arrows, reigning champions Sutton Sports and newcomers White Lion.

In the second division another new team Fox and Dogs lead the way and close on their heels are Oscott Social, Aston Social and the Fox.

Yet another new team White Lion Barrels are top of division three and also with wins in their opening games were Drakes Drum, Brookvale and Bromford Social.

There were three 180’s in the first games of the season and they were supplied by A.Kimberley (Deer’s Leap), D.Perry (Fox) and I.Scattergood (Boldmere Flights). P.Koyce (White Lion) had a 160 break.
