The latest round of fixtures in the Brook Meadow 301 Individual League has seen Adam Gallett take over pole position in the table. Adam played three games this week and won the two against Stuart Bliss and Simon Davis 3-0, in his other game he beat Martin Bliss 2-1. Former leader Carl Winters did not play this week and drops to second place on 74 points from 19 games, six adrift of Gallett, but with three games in hand.
Tony Comerford drops from second to third after his 2-1 win over Simon Davis leaving him on 73 points from 21 fixtures. Highest mover was Ian McFarlane who after beating both Stuart Bliss and Terry Clay 3-0, plus a 2-1 success against Mark Elkin has leapt from tenth in the table to sixth.
A 2-1 win over Terry Blakemore has seen Stuart Bliss move off the foot of the table, he has been replaced by Simon Davis who lost both of his games.
Matt Gallett notched a maximum in his 3-0 win against Stuart Bliss.

The Forest of Arden Summer League will be holding their AGM at Sheldon Heath Social Club on Wednesday 17th June beginning at 8.10pm after the winter league meeting. Anyone interested in entering a team in the league for the forthcoming season should be represented at this meeting.

The Pip Club League have played off a number of their finals. In the Challenge Cup Three Horse Shoes took the division one title with a final victory over Sports Bar Centre, Tamworth. The division two title went to the Kettlebrook Club with the Bull runners up.
In the Doubles Knockout Competition Glascote Club duo Bob Mills and Max Turner beat Globe Inn representatives Phil Turner and Ian Turner in the final.
Glascote Club won the Division One Cup with Winning Post the losing finalists. Two Gates Club were crowned the Division Two Cup champions after beating Queens Head in the final.
Tomorrow night (04-06-2009) the league will be staging their Shadow League Knockout for both division one and two and will be played at the Pip Club. Draw for division one is, Winning Post v Belgrave Club, Three Horse Shoes v Globe Inn and for division two, Kettlebrook Club v North Warwick Cricket Club, Red Lion v Gate Inn.

Cup finals have been the order of the day for the Sheldon and District Winter League. First the Punch Bowl in which Sheldon Dukes had a 6-3 win in the semi’s over Shirley RBL and Olton RBL beat Shard End RBL 5-4 in the other.
The final was a clear cut 7-2 success for Sheldon Dukes with Olton RBL finishing as runners up.
The Sheldon Shield title went to RAFA who with a close 5-4 verdict beat Pavilions in the final. RAFA had also had a 5-4 win in the last four where they defeated Scanlons, while Pavilions had a slightly better margin 6-3 victory over Highwood.
