This coming weekend Warwickshire and West Midlands play their final games of the season in division one of the BDO Inter Counties Championships. Warwickshire will round off their successful promotion campaign with a home tie against middle of the table County Durham. Congratulations to Bromford Lions who with a close 5-4 home win over bottom of the table Royal Oak Ruffians have won the Four Oaks and District division two title on the very last week of the season. Oscott Social after losing 5-4 in their home tie with Pint Pot Flights drop to third place and Old Oscott Arrows secured the runners up spot with a 7-2 victory over Deer’s Leap Flights.
In division one Sutton Sports completed a memorable season by remaining undefeated in all sixteen fixtures.
The last matches of the season saw an amazing seven scores of 180 recorded by, A.Day, who hit two, D.Jarvis jnr ((Bromford Lions), R.Hawker, I.Scattergood (Sutton Sports), D.Bond (Red Lion Flights) and M.Harris (The Fox).

Adam Gallett, leader of the Brook Meadow Individual 301 League suffered a surprising straight 3-0 defeat against Matt Gallett, but despite this a 2-1 success over Richard King helped keep him in joint top position. Joining Adam with the same number of points and exactly the same average are Carl Winters and Rob Wilson. Winters had two 2-1 wins against Adam Thomas and Darren Whitehouse, while Wilson beat Richard King 2-1 and Matt Gallett 3-0. Wilson recorded the fastest leg of the week against King a nine darter plus a 160 break.

On the fixture card for the Sheldon and District Winter League was the quarter finals of the Sheldon Shield. Three of the four games finished with 6-3 scorelines. In turn there were wins for RAFA, Highwood and Pavilions against Custard House, Yardley Ex Colts and Small Heath Amateur Gardeners. The other match was a very close affair with Scanlons just getting the 5-4 edge on Iron Horse.

Dave Watkins is the current leader of the Grange Sunday Night Charity 301 League even after suffering a straight
3-0 defeat at the hands of Julian Harris. Dave Watkins has 21 points from 11 games however he needs to keep an eye over his shoulder as the four players behind him all have games in hand. Second placed Matt Cooper is just one point adrift with a game in hand, third in the table Phil Watkins is three behind with two games in hand, then comes Julian Harris who has played two game fewer and is four points adrift and reigning champion Jim Norris is fifth on 16 points, five less than the leader but he has four games in hand.
