Warwickshire travelled all the way to Cornwall in the latest fixture in division one of the BDO Inter Counties Championships and returned adding another win to the six they had already amassed this season.. Their 19-17 win maintains their pole position in the promotion table with 169 points, 18 more than second placed Gwent.
Both men’s teams finished all square at 6-6, with Tom McGlone (26.45) and Steve Dwyer (27.01) the respective ‘A’ and ‘B’ award winners. The ladies ‘B’ won 4-2, Louise Graham (18.79) their top lady for the second successive game. The ‘A’ side ended at 3-3 with Lesley Newcombe (28.36) taking the lady of the match award, the first time Trina Gulliver has not won the award since November 2006.
