In division one West Midlands are finding the going a little tougher than their local rivals and found themselves on the wrong side of a 19-17 result away to Derbyshire and leaves them with just one victory from five games.
The men’s ’A’ shared a 6-6 result, while the ’B’ won 8-4, the respective award winners being Ian Jones (27.30) and Ian Stanton (25.91).
The ladies had a poor weekend with the ’A’ team losing 4-2 and the ’B’ 5-1, Lisa Astbury (19.12) was the ’A’ side’s top player and Claire Ford (10.81) the ’B’s.
