Last Sunday Tipton’s men’s team represented the West Midlands in the British Champions Cup in the play off at Canley Sports and Social Club, Coventry. In the quarter finals they squared up to Northampton shire and recorded a superb 7-2 win. The semi finals brought together West Midlands and local rivals Warwickshire. West Midlands booked their final place with a 6-3 win. In the final opposition came in the form of Bedfordshire, another 6-3 win saw them crowned as Midland champions.
Following their Midland Area win Tipton now go forward as West Midlands representatives to the grand finals at Staverton Park, Staverton, Daventry, Northamptonshire, NN11 6JT this coming Sunday, 17th August.
