What a season it’s been for Trevor Frost in the Brook Meadow Individual Double Top League. With a total of 131 points he retained the league title for the second successive season, but not content with that he won the singles knockout, the doubles knockout with partner Gordon Clinton, hit the most tons 220, he and Mathew Gallett scored the most maximums 10 and shared the least darts 13 with Ross Macken, in fact the only thing he did not win was the highest finish of 160 which went to Ian McFarlane and John Burdett.
In the league Jason Evans, with 128 points was runner up, Ross Macken on the same 128 points with a slightly inferior average, Mark Birch was runner up in the singles and it was Mark Birch again with Terry Blakemore who lost in the final of the doubles.

The Sheldon and District Winter League has brought the curtain down with Saltley Amateur Gardeners taking the top honours by winning the premier division title with Olton RBL runners up on 34 points, two fewer than the champions and the same as third placed Shard End RBL ’B’. Sheldon Dukes won the Shadow League.
In division one RAFA finished top of the table on 28 points again a two points margin between first and second with Pavilions just losing out. Hen and Chickens won the division’s Shadow League.
The second division title went to Kingshurst Labour Club who with 17 wins in 20 games chalked up 34 point’s, second in the table Farringdon Flights totalled 32 points. Golden Acres with 12 points finished the Shadow League as champions with Custard House and Millhouse two points behind.

With five fixtures remaining in the Small Heath League, Mitre have already assured themselves of retaining the title. A 7-2 home win over bottom of the table the Victoria gives them a total of 40 points, 12 more than their nearest rivals Custard House who went down 7-2 at Victoria 301 Club.
Shadow league leaders Potcheen Still hung on to their six points lead when they won 7-2 at home to Victoria Flights. Second placed Wagon and Horses also recorded a win, it was a shock 5-4 against Emerald Club who as a result have dropped from second to fourth in the league table.

The Pip Club League have had their Open Cup on their agenda. The event was staged at two venues, the Belgrave Club and the Pip Club. In the semi finals at the Belgrave Wiggy 180 beat the Bull (Polesworth) and Winning post went out of the competition to the Glascote Club.
Winners at the Pip Club were Globe Inn and Queens Head who in turn defeated Red Lion and Three Horse Shoes in the last four play off.
All four winners will now go through to the finals at the Pip Club on the 19th June.

Week 9 of the GULP League saw both the Tribe and Who’s hand out respective 7-0 whitewashes to the Rebels and Wagon 26’s, while both Beasts and Lions in turn beat Vicars and Devils 5-2.
