Warwickshire ended their season in division one of the Kaliber BDO Inter Counties Championships with an away game against County Durham. By their own standards the season fell below their expectations however their final game, despite losing 19-17 was not a bad result as their opponents were chasing possible promotion and actually finished their campaign in third place.
The ’B’ games saw the ladies win 4-2 with Denise Burke (16.86) taking the match award and the men go down 7-5, Mark Carter (28.48) winning their award. In the ’A’ games Trina Gulliver (23.28) was yet again the lady of the match as the team lost 4-2, while the men’s ’A’ finished all square with Tony Brown their top player with a 27.83 average.
