Warwickshire’s latest fixture in division one of the Kaliber BDO Inter Counties Championships was a home tie against third in the table Surrey. Once again it was not a good weekend for the hosts as they both ladies and the men’s ’B’ side all lost for the second consecutive match. Trina Gulliver (30.06) and Wendy Adams (17.28) were the award winners for the respective ’A’ and ’B’ teams as both teams went down 4-2. Kevin Taylor (26.44) took the men’s ’B’ trophy as they finished on the wrong side of an 8-4 scoreline. The men’s ’A’ were the only winners of the weekend, a 7-5 win including Nigel Heydon’s (29.47) man of the match performance.
