Canley Sports and Social Club, Coventry was the venue for the play off’s of the BDO British Champions Cup. Local counties Warwickshire and West Midlands were involved in both the men’s and women’s competitions. In the men’s knockout the two teams met in the final, but it was West Midlands who stormed to a resounding 8-1 victory.
The ladies event saw Warwickshire make their exit in their first game, losing by a close 4-3 to Northamptonshire, who then went on to win the title by beating West Midlands 6-1.
