Trevor Frost has returned to pole position in the Brook Meadow Individual League following his latest round of results. Frost kicked off the latest fixtures with a 3-0 win against Alan Ashford and followed that with two 2-1 wins over Joe Hall and Mark Birch to give him a total of 161 points from 40 games. Jason Evans is currently in second place six points behind Frost. Evans had a 2-1 win against Scott Austin and 3-0 wins over Ross Macken and Terry Blakemore. Reigning champion Ian McFarlane, on 154 points is one point adrift of Evans with three games in hand and seven behind Frost with two games in hand.
Colin Farrington was in top scoring form in his 3-0 win over Joe Hall hitting 2×180,1×140,135,104 and 100, he also registered an eleven darts leg. other player finding the three treble twenties were, Ross Macken, Keith Kelly, Dave Elliott, Jason Evans, Gordon Clinton (2), Mark Birch and Alan Ashford.

The Small Heath League have been engaged in the semi finals of their League Cup and Upside Down Cup. First the League Cup in which Custard House beat Potcheen Still and the Mitre took out the Victoria 301 Club.
The final of the Upside Down Cup will be contested between Victoria Flights and the Emerald Club after Victoria Flights beat their local rivals The Victoria and Emerald Club accounted for Wagon and Horses.

The G.U.L.P. Charity League have been playing off their singles competition. The event was staged at four venues with the last two players going through to the grand finals later in the year. Winning through from the Bromford were R.McConnell and D.Jones while C.Stokes and J.Norris were the successful pair from the Victoria. C.Walsh and M.O’Sullivan went through from the Clock and to complete the last eight J.McCaffrey and J.Miley were the winners at Potcheen Still.

The Pip Club League will be staging their doubles knockout at the Belgrave Club, Tamworth tomorrow evening. The eventual winners will collect £60 and the runners up £40.

The 14th and 15th July will see a grand weekend of darts in Coventry, organised by the Warwickshire County Darts Organisation. On the Saturday Cherry Tree Sports and Social Club, Lythalls Lane, Coventry will play hosts for the Coventry Open, which carries a top prize of £500 plus the entry fees will be paid out to the last eight players. Cost of entry is £4.00 on the day.
Sunday sees the prestigious Midland Open being staged at Canley Sports and Social Club, where £1000 is on offer for the winner, £350 for the runner up, £140 for losing semi finalists, £60 for quarter finalists and £20 for players reaching the last sixteen.
