Ian McFarlane, reigning champion of the Brook Meadow Individual League is once more setting the pace for the rest of the field. With an increase in the number of players this season the defence of his title is going to be that much more difficult, but after completing six fixtures he has won five and only lost one, 2-1 to Carl Winters. The latest round of games has seen McFarlane beat A.Ashford 3-0 and D.Elliott 2-1 to give him a total of 23 points, five more than his nearest rival Trevor Frost, but Frost has two games in hand.
