West Midlands went south to play against Devon in their latest BDO Inter County Championship fixture, in the ’B’ games the ladies finished all square at three each, while the men went down 7-5. The respective awards went to Sue Smith (16.89) and Viv Gould (24.64). The Ladies ’A’ after taking a 2-0 lead lost 4-2, their opener Angie Perry (21.47) the top lady. Then rounding off the fixture the men’s ’A’ went into a 6-3 lead and finished at 6-6 to give the overall result 20-16 to the hosts. Adrian Arnold (25.44) collected the award.
