Biggest winners in division one of the Four Oaks and District league this week were Anvil Nomads, who defeated Barn Social with a 7-2 scoreline. On form for the Nomads were P.Allen, who hit a maximum and M.Smith, who also notched a 180 and recorded a 9 darts game. For Barn R.George was another player to find the three treble twenties.
In the second division T.Garner (Bromford Lions) was the top scorer, again a 180, unfortunately his side lost 5-4 at Boldmere Mixed.

The top two teams in the premier division of the Sheldon and District Winter league, Highwood and Saltley Amateur Gardeners, had respective 8-1 and 7-2 wins over EBAHA and Iron Horse. Third placed Fordbridge Social lost ground as they were beaten 7-2 by Three Horse Shoes.
The league will be staging the semi finals of their League Cup tomorrow night the premier division matches are Highwood v Sheldon Dukes (at the Raven) and Malt Shovel v St Anne’s (at Lea Hall). Division one games see Hen and Chickens take on Shard End Social at the British Telecom Club and Lea Hall Sports and Social plat at Yardley Ex Service against the Harvester. In the second division, Old Bill and Bull play Banbury Club at EBAHA and Sheldon and Marlboro face Yardley Ex Service at the RAFA.

The George, already winners of the division one title in the Harborne and District Winter league, took on third placed Midland Red at home and chalked up a massive 6-1 victory. Second placed Hillyfields had a close 4-3 success in their home tie with the Woodcock. J.Good (Raven) was in fine form for his team recording 2×120 and a 102 breaks, 3×100,140 and 105 in a 6-1 win against Hobsons Choice.
There were mixed fortunes for the two leading teams in the second division, the Pheasant beating Bartley Green Social Flights 5-2, while the Cock Inn went down 4-3 at Harborne Stores.

Victoria 301 Club and McVeighs stay locked together on ten points at the top of the Small Heath Winter league, however, Victoria have a couple of games in hand on McVeighs. In the latest fixtures McVeighs had 1 6-3 win over the Custard House, while Victoria 301 Club had a walk over, they should have been playing Heartlands Club, who have had to withdraw from the league due to a shortage of playing staff.
Another reminder that the summer league’s AGM will be held on the 18th April at the Custard House, Blake Lane, Bordesley Green, with a view to forming the new season, which will get underway at the end of May.
