Scott Mitton simply had a disastrous week in the Belgrave Social Individual League. Mitton started the week just three points adrift of leader Steve Dwyer, but in his latest fixtures against Steve Hine and Darren Jones he finished on the wrong side of 2-1 results in both cases. Dwyer meanwhile was taking on Lance Thompson and Pete Guesford who he beat 3-0 and 2-1 respectively.

After this week’s results Dwyer is now on 109 points from 26 games and Mitton, who hangs on to his second place despite he defeats, is thirteen points adrift with a game in hand.

At the other end of the table congratulations go to Steve Cain jnr, who won his first match of the campaign, his first in 26 outings. Well done Steve. Another man in form was Gordon Clinton, who in his 3-0 win over Jim Williams chalked up a thirteen darts leg.
