It was definitely a case of away day blues for Warwickshire in the BDO Inter Counties Championships, they travelled north to take on Yorkshire and went down 21-15. Biggest upset was the massive 11-1 defeat for the men’s ‘B’ side, Prakash Jiwa (24.97) the sole winner. The ‘A’ team recorded a 7-5 win with Nick Gedney (30.57) their top man.
In the women’s game the ‘A’ won 4-2, Clare Bywaters achieving the highst average, 25.91, while the ‘B’ side finished all square with Denise Burke (18.66) the lady of the match.
