There were a couple of shock results in the Aston Winter League as last week’s leaders, Heartlands, lost for the first time this season, a 5-4 defeat at Old Oscott WMC. KCA (8-1) and Kings Ex Service (7-2) both maintained their 100% records with respective wins against Yew Tree and Aston Social. Mitre, with 160 breaks from D.Ali and R.McGlaughlin, had a good 6-3 win at the Highcroft, while J.Armstrong recorded a similar feat for Aston Social.
