In division three West Midlands entertained Breconshire. For the ladies it was the best weekend of the campaign as both finished all square at three each. For the ‘A’ Janet Hubbard (18.79) and ‘B’ Claire Downing (19.78) were the ladies of the match. There were mixed fortunes for the men as the ‘A’ won 7-5 and the ‘B’ lost by the same margin. The two top players were Nicholas Walters (29.24) and for the ‘B’ Gary Taylor (27.10). The result a 19-19 draw, which sees West Midlands finish the season second from bottom, just five points ahead of Breconshire.
