West Midlands travelled to the south to take on Wiltshire in their latest division three game in the BDO Inter County Champinships, both men’s teams won 8-4, Ian Jones recording a tremendous 34.95 average in the ‘A’ side’s win while Frank Johnson clinched the ‘B’ award with a 27.33 average. The ladies teams did just enough to give the West Midlands an overall 19-17 victory as the ‘A’ lost 5-1 (Angie Perry 20.67) and the ‘B’ went down 4-2 (Sue Smith 19.45).
