Warwickshire travelled south to take on Hampshire in the latest of their BDO Inter Counties Championships premier division fixtures. A 22-14 win maintained their unbeaten record, which now reads three wins and one draw. Only the ladies ‘B’ failed to win and they finished all square at three each with Pat Thornton (19.65) their top lady. Both men’s teams had 7-5 wins, Mick Bagley (32.20) and Tom Ryan (30.58) the respective ‘A’ and ‘B’’ teams man of the match. Inevitably the award for the ladies ‘A’ went to Trina Gulliver, incredibly her twenty second successive award. The ladies ‘A’ recorded their fourth consecutive win and the third 5-1 in a row.
