For one reason or another, the two Hobs Meadow teams are making the headlines in the Forest of Arden Winter League recently and this week is no exception. Hobs Meadow Mixes came up with a 7-2 win this week it was not so much the win, but the margin by which they defeated Red Arrows that created the shock. On the mark for Mixes was Brian Anderton, who notched a maximum. As for Hobs Meadow theirs was probably the biggest shock of the fixtures as they lost 5-4 at the Old Bill and Bull, their second defeat in three games after a previously unbeaten run.
