It was not good news for the Warwickshire County Darts Organisation who they travelled south to take on Cambridgeshire in their latest premier division BDO Inter Counties fixture. They returned with their heaviest defeat of the season so far, 23-16, both of the men’s teams lost, the ‘A’ 7-5 and the ‘B’ 9-3 with Steve Dwyer (29.31) and Mick Bagley (27.81) taking the respective match awards.
Barbara Allen (15.17) was the ladies ‘B’ lone winner, while the only bright note of the weekend was the 4-2 win by the ladies ‘A’. Taking the ‘A’ team’s top player award, but really it almost goes without saying, was Trina Gulliver. Trina has now won the last sixteen consecutive ‘A’ awards, a truly amazing feat.
