In division two of the BDO Inter County Champinships West Midlands had a tough away fixture against second in the table Berkshire. It proved to be a little too tough as they went down 16-23. The ladies ‘B’ extended their run of defeats to seven when the lost out 4-2, seasoned campaigner Rose Mycock their top player with a 19.03 average. The men’s ‘B’ after storming into a 5-1 lead had to finally content themselves with a 6-6 draw
In Sunday’s games the ladies recorded their second win of the campaign, a 4-2 verdict aided by Angie Perry (18.68) who was their top average. The men however, fell to their first defeat this term, an 8-4 reversal with Paul Johnson (27.86) taking the honours. Despite the defeat the men still head their table, just one point is the difference between them and second placed Cumbria.
