West Midlands played hosts to Berkshire in the latest of their divsion two fixtures in the BDO Inter County Championships, their weekend got off to a good start as the ladies chalked up their first win of the campaign, a 4-2 success with Angie Perry (20.88) the award winner. The men made it two back to back 6-6 draws, Jonathan Platt’s 25.10 average the best of the day.
The ladies ‘A’, for the second consecutive match lost 5-1, Dawn Holdcroft the only winner and only choice for the match award with her 21.17 average. The men’s ‘A’, similar to the ‘B’ finished all square at six each, Tom Aldridge taking the match award with a 28.90 average, the fourth such award in seven outings.
