Derbyshire v Tyne and Wear
Derbyshire go into their mid-season fixture in division three of the BDO Inter County Championships without a win in the four games played so far and lying at the foot of the table desperately need to win the game this coming weekend as they entertain the team just above them Tyne and Wear who with 70 points are eleven to the good on their hosts.
With confidence at a low a win would be just the tonic to set them on their way as they have a real test in the following game which is an away tie against second in the table Gloucestershire who with 90 points are level with leaders Humberside.
With only four fixtures remaining after the Tyne and Wear game Derbyshire need to quickly chalk up some winning points if they are to avoid dropping from division one to division four in just three seasons.
