The latest on the league front at the centre sees Louis Burley in week sixteen top the Thursday Night Champions League with a total of 141 points from 27 games, his nearest rival at the time of going to print being Chris Williams who has reached 133 points from 24 games.

Fourth placed Sam Guest is still well in contention despite being 25 points behind Burley as he has only played 21 games and with six in hand and a possible 42 points up for grabs he could well take over the number one spot, as could reigning champion for the past two seasons Mick Baker. Currently fifth in the table Baker has only played 20 games so far, he has 111 points and could take his total to 160 with his games in hand. So neither Guest or Baker are out of the frame but for Guest to reach his possible 158 points and Baker his 160 would mean both players would have to win all of their outstanding games 7-0, however there is still a long way to go and there will obviously be twists and turns along the way for all involved.

The Monday Night League as at week four sees Just The Tip in pole position with 147 points and second placed The Untouchables, who handed the leaders their first defeat of the campaign when they beat them 26-22 in week three, are ten points behind them. Third in the table What’s The Points are a further seventeen points adrift of Untouchables but they have only played three games as opposed to the two teams above them having played four.
