The Winmau Centre Thursday Night Champions League is hotting up and at the halfway stage the tile already looks as though it will go to one of the top three from a starting line up of twenty two players.
After completing 22 games Louis Burley leads the way with 122 points ten more than second placed and reigning champion Mick Baker who has played twenty one games.
Kevin Harris has lead the field for a large part of the season so far but in week twelve he lost a vital game 6-1 to Louis Burley to leave him third in the table on 102 points with two games in hand on Burley, two games which could net him a possible 14 points which would still see him trailing Burley by six. However there is still a long way to go and most certainly there will be further twists and turns before the champion is found.
