This coming weekend Warwickshire County Darts Organisation will be making the long trek to the south-west where at the Mount Charles Social Club, Clifden Road, St Austell, Cornwall, PL25 4NX they will take on Cornwall in the fourth of their Elite Premier Division fixtures in the UKDA National League.

Warwickshire, currently in second place in the divisional table, and only four points adrift of leaders Lancashire will play against a Cornwall team who are five places and 23 points behind them.

In the AON Championship Division West Midlands with just one win from their opening three games will be looking to return to winning ways after suffering a 21-15 defeat away to Dorset in their last fixture.

In their fourth game this coming weekend West Midlands will play hosts to Buckinghamshire who with 52 points are one place above them and four points to the good, so a win for both teams at this point would see them move a little further away from the relegation zone.

Newcomers to county games Black Country have made a perfect start to their inaugural season having won all three of their opening fixtures in the Windows for Darts Division Three. Their forthcoming fixture at the weekend will see them travel to take on Wirral who are six places below them in the table and a massive 45 short of their lofty opponents who hold a five points advantage over their nearest rivals, second placed Gloucestershire.

Division one of the Four Oaks and District League witnessed a terrific comeback as leaders Boldmere St Mikes fought back from 4-1 down at the Red Lion to win 5-4 making it six straight wins to keep them two points ahead of second placed Erdington Arrows who after opening up a 5-1 lead as hosts to Golden Hind, in the end had to be satisfied with a rather close 5-4 victory, this being Hind’s fourth consecutive 5-4 defeat.

In the second division Bishop Vesey and Heartlands both had comfortable wins as Vesey beat St Thomas Arrows 6-3 to stay top of the division just ahead of Heartlands on average despite Heartlands winning 7-2 against Erdington Flyers.

Plough and Arrows 5-4 win at Bills Arrows saw them move into third place on eight points, two short of the two teams above them.

With no result in for Dunky’s Boys versus Mackadown Social in the premier division of the Sheldon and District Winter League Dunky’s forfeit their number spot and drop to four with Langley Arrows moving up one place to replace them in pole position after their 7-2 home win over bottom of the division Hobs Meadow, Daniel White and Simon Edwards hitting a 180 for Langley while their team mate Richard Nixon recorded a ten darts game.

Sheldon Marlborough Flights are the only other team besides Langley Arrows to have won all three games in the premier, their latest being a 6-3 success over Iron Horse Flights to keep them in second place, Tom White hit a maximum for Sheldon.

In division one, the top four teams are all undefeated, an 8-1 win at Maggies puts Kingshurst Labour Club top of the division on average from Sheldon Dukes who won 6-3 at Irish Centre. Third and fourth placed Hollywood Social and Yardley Ex Colts played each other but with no result in they are both on four points from two games.

The Shirley and District Monday Night League staged their Singles Knockout in which there were 2-0 wins in the quarter finals for James Hinkley, Simon Edwards and Rob Downer over respective opponents Jeff Harper, Josh Aplin and Tom McCabe. Baz Williams won 2-1 against Luke Sahota.

The last four games both went to the wire with Downer and Edwards in turn getting the verdict against Williams and Hinkley. The final also went the full distance with Simon Edwards just getting the edge on Rob Downer.
