Derbyshire v Berkshire

Despite having made it three consecutive wins in division three of the BDO Inter County Championships Derbyshire have a tough task this coming weekend when they play hosts to top of the table Berkshire at The Pinxton Village Hall, Kirkstead Road, Pinxton, NG16 6NA. The wins have taken Derbyshire up three places off the foot of the table but points are still at a premium if they are to avoid relegation for a third successive season.

Currently Derbyshire are on 132 points with the two teams directly below them Wiltshire and Norfolk both on 131 with bottom of the table Tyne and Wear only another two points adrift on 129. Thankfully after this weekend’s fixture, Derbyshire still have one more game to play and that is another home tie which is a rearranged fixture against Wiltshire being played on the weekend of the 19th and 20th May, that could well be a relegation decider.
